| Description of Study: |
Infants at least 5 months old fed an exclusively human milk-fed diet who are ready to begin solid foods are needed for a study to determine the effect of first foods on the infant’s natural gut bacteria (gut microbiota). The study involves two 45-minute visits to the Energy Balance and Nutrition Lab at the University of Delaware’s STAR Tower as well as feeding your infant an intervention food (baby food puree), completing diet records, and collecting infant stool samples. Participants will be compensated up to $285 for their time and effort. |
