Description of Study:

The Gait Biomechanics Lab is currently looking for healthy older adults and older adults with knee osteoarthritis aged 55-70 to participate in a walking study. The study lasts approximately 2 hours and includes completing a series of 3 walking tasks while wearing noninvasive sensors on the legs. Participants will be compensated with a $30 amazon gift card.

Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria:

Individuals 55-70 years of age with no history of neurological, cardiovascular, or pulmonary conditions, or high blood pressure or uncontrolled diabetes.

Individuals without knee osteoarthritis:
-No major lower body injury or surgery within 1-year

Individuals with knee osteoarthritis:
-Does not use an assistive device for walking
-Able to walk 30 minutes
-No lower body joint injections within 3 months of study visit
