| Description of Study: |
The aim of this study is to better understand the experiences of international students who have been exposed to gender-based violence while they were enrolled as international students. Gender-based violence has been studied frequently among domestic students, but less is known about the specific experiences of international students. This study aims to understand the impact of these experiences on mental health (e.g. wellbeing, post traumatic stress), as well as supports available. |
| Will participants be compensated for participation? | |
| Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria: |
To be eligible, you must be 18 years or older, current or former international student in the U.S., with a history of dating/sexual violence while you were an international student. This includes: sexual assault, sexual harassment, and/or emotional/physical abuse within a romantic relationship. |
